Free Online MIDI Keyboard & Piano

Behind it sits a browser-based synthesizer with a growing library of sounds: grand piano, electric piano, strings, synth leads and pads, bass, brass, mallets and drum kits. Instruments load on demand, so you can start playing right away.
Record straight from the browser whenever inspiration strikes — hit record, play your part, then review the take inline and trim the ends down to exactly the section you want to keep.

Frequently asked questions
Is Noodler free?
Yes. Noodler is completely free and runs in your browser — no account, no download, no plugins.
Do I need a MIDI keyboard?
No. You can play with your computer keyboard or the on-screen keys, but a USB or Bluetooth MIDI controller gives you the full experience.
Do I have to install anything?
No. Noodler is a web app — everything runs in the browser. There is nothing to install and no plugin to load.
What instruments can I play?
Over 30 instruments, including grand piano, electric piano, strings, synths, bass, brass, mallets and drum-pad kits.
Can I record and share what I play?
Yes. Record your session, trim it, and share it with a link so anyone can play it back in their browser.
Does it work on mobile?
Noodler is built for desktop browsers, where Web MIDI and audio input are fully supported. Mobile support is limited.
Why is there a slight delay between playing and hearing the sound?
The most likely cause is Bluetooth headphones or earbuds (such as AirPods). Bluetooth buffers and re-encodes audio before sending it wirelessly, which adds roughly 100–300 ms of latency that no web app can remove. For the tightest timing, switch to wired or built-in speakers or headphones.
